IMG_6943.JPG I woke up relatively early Sunday morning, and went for a long walk to see some of the other camping areas. Bonnaroo is on a 700-acre former farm. I carried by handheld GPS with me, and it says I walked 2.5 miles this morning. I saw less than 25% of the camping areas. This photo is from just outside our trailer, where I noticed a large dragon and Mr. T. I have no idea why they were there.

IMG_6946.JPG Here's our truck. The orange electrical cord is carrying 120V AC from an interver in the truck to the trailer, so I'd have power to recharge camera batteries, laptop, etc. Very handy!

IMG_6951.JPG This vendor had nothing to do with music, but obviously had an opinion. And a potentially dangerous one only 60 miles from Nashville!
IMG_6955.JPG In the middle of the campground area is a church. Wisely fenced off and vacant for the weekend.
IMG_6959.JPG A typical camping area. The other music festival I've been to, moe.down, has a separate parking lot from the campground. Here you park your car and set up camp in the same spot.

IMG_6963.JPG The bumper sticker that caught my eye is on the right, "Speak for the Trees," complete with the Lorax (from Dr. Seuss).
IMG_6965.JPG At the far end of one campground I came across an RV in an otherwise tent area. They obviously had a great view, so I approached.
IMG_6966.JPG I chatted with those on the roof, who invited me up for a photo.
IMG_6969.JPG And here are the four others on the RV's roof. I gave them my card and hope they track me down - I really like the photo.

IMG_6976.JPG I managed to climb down from the RV without breaking my neck, and they directed me behind them to a creek. A few small groups were using it as a quiet, shaded get-away.

IMG_6985.JPG Kermit at Bonnaroo. Note the driver still asleep in the car; not sure if I noticed him when taking the photo. I saw many people sleeping in their cars Sunday morning, perhaps seeking cover from the heavy rain the night before.
