IMG_6824.JPG The food lines were short so it's a good time to eat.
IMG_6825.JPG The rain was starting to let up so I ran out for a photo of where we've been standing. Alysa is in there somewhere.
IMG_6834.JPG At 6:15pm I start to wander towards the stage, to see if/when Steve Winwood would come on. Along the way I take some crowd shots.

IMG_4511.JPG She happily shows me her paint job was complete, front and back. The artwork was very impressive; must have taken quite a while to do.

IMG_6861.JPG The painted lady's boyfriend brought a raincoat, which was needed after a minute. Unfortunately it couldn't protect her face which suffered some water damage.

IMG_6863.JPG Just a few feet from the stage now, several people make their own shelter from the light rain. In the background you can see the instruments on stage, covered in plastic. It's now 7:02pm; Steve Winwood was due onstage at 5:30pm.
IMG_6865.JPG We were given occasional updates. They were watching the weather on a computer backstage, and weren't particularly concerned with the rain but of lightning. If I had a tripod with me I could have taken some great lightning shots.
