Thanks for posting the photos of the STARS workstation. STARS (Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System) is operational at dozens of airports and control facilities, the largest to date being the Philadelphia airport. STARS is used to contol airport arrivals and departures. Prior to my retirement from Raytheon I was the STARS Hardware Development Manager.

Mitch & Alysa, I finally have a chance to glance at your blog and photo albums. I'm only at mid-May, but I'm amazed by how many cool things you've seen and all the people you've visited already! I wish I could meet up with you somewhere. Unfortunately, my plan of being free for the summer didn't work out. New plan is hopefully in Sept/Oct. I'm taking a week vacation after Labor Day. Mitch, your photos are wonderful! DC looks great. I really like the one of the camerawoman against the Capitol. Can't wait to read more!
